Banana Cupcakes with Caramel Swiss Meringue Buttercream and Caramel Icicles

There's something magical about the delicious smell of freshly made cupcakes....luckily, we get to smell that sweetness quite a bit around here!  To our friend's up north who have had more than their fair share of winter and snow....nothing says comfort food better than banana cupcakes.  We topped them off with a silky smooth caramel Swiss meringue buttercream and caramel "icicles" to melt away the winter blues.   Yum!

We baked fresh sugar cookies and decorated them in blue & white designs to match the party's color theme. Chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with fluffy white and light blue buttercream frosting (piped like clouds) topped with white and blue fondant stars.

Pucci Inspired Cupcakes

These cupcakes were prepared for a special friend for her 40th birthday party. The chocolate & vanilla cupcakes were topped with handmade fondant dresses, shoes, flowers & handbags in swirls of wild colors, an homage to Mr. Pucci himself!! We frosted the cupcakes in six different color buttercream frostings to add a punch of color to the whole look. They were displayed upon tiered footed cake plates with authentic Pucci scarves wrapped around the base! Delicious!

This was a fun project with the Live Love & Laugh theme. We incorporated hearts, smiley faces and peace symbols in chocolate & the words "live", "laugh" & "love" in fondant. All toppers are handmade.

These cupcakes were created for a Hawaiian luau theme with an orange, blue & brown color scheme. We've made some flip flops on grass, grass skirts and flowers!

One of my favorite flavors!

If you're a fan of chocolate & coffee, this cupcake is for you! It's a mix of fine artisan dark chocolate melted together with a hint of Italian coffee, topped off with a fresh coffee buttercream and a crunchy chocolate covered espresso bean. Mmmm......a cup of coffee & dessert all rolled into one! This is one of my all time favorite cupcakes! You've got to try it!

A Great Night at the Fundraiser for Children's Home Society

This is a collage of 16 different photos of our display at the Fundraiser last week. Thanks to all of you who came out and visited at our table & supported the Children's Home Society! We had a wonderful time & met a lot of great people. We offered a wide variety of flavors that night including: white chocolate, chocolate (3 ways!), vanilla, red velvet, peanut butter, lemon, mochaccino, coconut, banana and our ever popular S'mores, which sold out the quickest!! Can't wait til next year!
